Biographical Sketch: DI Dr. Martin Heidl worked as assistant professor at the Technical University of Vienna from 2003 to 2009. His responsibilities were projects dealing with the integration of power plants into distribution and transmission systems and dynamic simulations. Since then he works at Fronius International in the PV system technology department. As head of the AC technology group he is an expert for integration issues of PV inverters. He is active in several projects dealing with DER integration and smart grids
