Biographical Sketch: Laura Ellen Jones is a tax partner at Hunton & Williams LLP whose practice focuses almost exclusively on energy tax credit matters. She has represented numerous clients in solar and other renewable energy transactions. She has also represented solar manufacturers in connection with successful applications for allocations of section 48C tax credits. Laura has helped clients obtain public guidance and private letter rulings from the IRS and in connection with IRS audits. She is a member of the SEIA Board of Directors and Chair of the SEIA Solar Services and Consumers Division. Laura received a J.D. from Georgetown University and a B.A. in Foreign Affairs from UVA.
