Biographical Sketch:
Virinder Singh is Director of Regulatory and Legislative Affairs at enXco, a leading wind and solar development company and O&M provider. Prior to his current position, Virinder consulted investment firms, developers, non-profits and government agencies on business planning, energy market analysis, cost modeling, project development, and RFP bid evaluation. At Pacificorp, a major electric utility, he helped to steer efforts that resulted in 1,400 MW of renewable energy, and led pioneering valuation of climate change policy risk in resource planning. He authored the resolution that created the WREGIS green tag tracking system by the Western Governors Association in 2002. He entered the clean energy industry in 1997 at the D.C.-based Renewable Energy Policy Project, where he eventually served as Co-Director and authored often-used research on job impacts and other issues. He holds degrees from the University of California, Berkeley, Columbia University, and Portland State University.
