Biographical Sketch:
Mignon’s solar career began in 1980, working for the California Solar Business Office, which promoted commercial and industrial applications of solar-thermal technology and solar business development. She first worked for CALSEIA in the mid-1980’s on state solar legislation and consumer education. She re-joined CALSEIA in October 2010 as its Policy Director and became CALSEIA’s Executive Director in April 2011. For more than 20 years, Mignon led teams at the Energy Commission responsible for local government energy-efficiency and fleet management programs; managing R&D contracts; and forecasting retail electricity prices. She authored reports on California’s natural gas market; LNG safety; and distributed generation.
