Biographical Sketch: Dan is President and Chief Executive Officer of SOLON Corporation, responsible for strategic growth in North America. SOLON Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of SOLON SE, is located in Tucson, AZ, where it is a leading provider of solar solutions for residential, commercial and utility-scale applications. With a manufacturing facility in Arizona, SOLON Corporation plans, builds, and operates large photovoltaic power plants throughout North America. Dan brings over 20 years of experience in Project Management and Executive Leadership in automation and large-scale system design. Prior to his current role at SOLON, Dan held increasing positions of responsibility as Director of Programs and Vice President of NA. Before joining SOLON, Dan was the Business Unit General Manager of Automation Tooling Systems Inc. (ATS), where he was responsible for P&L performance as well functional management of all aspects of the business unit, including sales, operations, finance, and human resources. Previous to this, Dan was with Remmele Engineering Inc. for 16 years, starting as a System Control Engineer and spending his last 7 years as a Project Manager, leading a department of engineers and program managers in the design and build of customer automation systems in the diagnostic, pharmaceutical, and consumer products industries. Dan earned his BSEE from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and an MBA from University of Saint Thomas, MN.
