Biographical Sketch: Ben Hoen is a researcher with Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory where he investigates individual and community responses to a number of different renewable energy sources. Ben conducted a nationwide analysis of the impact of wind facilities on local property values and an analysis of solar energy system’s effects on home transaction prices. He is a graduate of the Bard Center for Environmental Policy at Bard College with a Master of Science Degree in Environmental Policy and holds Bachelors degrees in Finance and General Business from University of Maryland.
