Biographical Sketch: Jeff W. Smith is a Project Manager at EPRI, where his primary role is performing studies for distributed and bulk renewable applications, model development for renewable interconnection and integration analysis, load flow and dynamic stability studies, as well as harmonic and transient modeling and analysis. Before joining EPRI, Mr. Smith was an engineer at Electrotek Concepts for 6 years where he managed and performed distribution and transmission planning studies as well as wind interconnection and integration analysis. Mr. Smith received his BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering from Mississippi State University, where as a research assistant his primary work involved electric machine modeling and flicker analysis.
