Biographical Sketch: Mr. Spencer is the founder and president of the CEC and leads the organization’s vision and execution. Specifically, he created the CEC’s operational model, utility contracts, virtual net metering software, and fostered the CEC’s relationships with electric provider partners. His background spans from entrepreneurial startup ventures in technology, real estate, medical, brokerage and software fields (self, private equity and VC) to running a global services regional division for a Fortune 200 company and VP of Business Development for a $300M public consulting and technology company. He is currently actively involved in the electric utility industry by leading development of community solar projects around the nation.
